Manchester, N.H. — (May 5, 2017) — The Manchester Rotary Club is once again proud to bring Cruising Downtown back to Manchester on Labor Day Saturday, September 2nd, 2017. The annual family-friendly event, which last year featured more than 850 classic cars on display along Elm Street, offers fun and entertainment for young and old. The main stage in Veterans Park features live music all day, Featuring The Blacklight Band 10 am – 11:30 am! Then the Nashville Rash Band will take the Veterans Park stage from 1 pm – 4 pm. Center Stage @ 100 Elm St Featuring the bands Permanent Vacation playing from 9 am-11:30 am, and Speed Trap playing from 12 pm-3 pm!
Radios station 96.5 THE MILL Manchester’s Iconic Rock Station with Ioanis will be broadcasting live from 11 am – 1 pm Sponsored by IRA Motors!!!
Donation to Cruising Downtown is $5.00 and children under 12 will be admitted free. Parking is free and handicapped parking is available directly behind City Hall along Franklin Street.
Show vehicle registration is open throughout the morning of the event beginning at 7:00am at the Brady Sullivan Tower parking lot, located at 1750 Elm Street (off the Amoskeag Bridge). The show features tons of trophies and dash plaques for the first 200 cars. Registration on the day of the event will be first come, first serve and the $25 registration fee must be paid in cash or a check written out to the Manchester Rotary Club.
